Choose a source
Add a folder or a drive as a location: from the Library with Add location, or by dropping the folder on one of the three doors on the home screen. Folio can hold several locations at once. Photos on a phone need to be copied to a folder first; importing directly from a phone is not in today’s build. A camera memory card can be imported from the Import screen once it is plugged in.
Let it read
The scan only reads. It never changes, moves or deletes your files. You can stop it, even close Folio, and choose Resume later to continue where it left off. A drive that gets unplugged keeps its records in the catalog until you remove the location yourself.
Pick a task
Organize by date, find duplicates, or rename in bulk. Folio writes the whole plan out first, shows you the consequences in plain language, and then waits for you.
Nothing on your drives changes until you approve a plan.
